I took an early walk to avoid today’s heat advisory. Then, after finishing breakfast outside on my deck, I noticed a few thriving elements in my garden. I’m focusing on their success.
Always reliable until frost, the Sunpatiens.

The tall, tall, tall Coleus in two varieties.

The reblooming Jackmanii Clematis.

The as-seen-in-an-earlier-post purple glory of the so-far-unnibbled Liriope.

The “I should have been planted in the back row” Dusty Miller.

The Burgundy Wedding Train Coleus that appears to be hovering since it nearly covers the containers.

The “I’m doing fine, thanks” hydrangea that I transplanted in August. It is even re-leafing!
